What: Fall Fest @ Viridian

Viridian's annual Fall Festival is open to the public and will feature an artisan market, pumpkin patch, petting zoo, craft beer, live music and armadillo races.

What: Storytime @ River Legacy Science Center
When: 11-11:45 a.m. Oct. 21
Where: 703 NW Green Oaks Blvd.
Cost: free
River Legacy partners with the Arlington Public Library on the third Saturday of each month for a fun, nature-themed program that includes stories, songs, a craft, and maybe even a critter. Stories are geared toward preschool aged children, however, all children are welcome. Space is limited. To reserve seating, call 817-860-6752.

When: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 21-22
Where: Arlington Convention Center, 1200 Ballpark Way
Cost: $20 at the door, free for children 11 and younger

What: Salvador Dali: Visions of Eternity
When: Oct. 21-Jan. 21
Where: Arlington Museum of Art, 201 W. Main Street
Cost: $8 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, free for children ages 12 and under
"Dali was a painter, designer, sculptor, writer and set designer as well as a master engraver who could produce equally outstanding work in dry point, etching, woodcut or lithography," according to the Arlington Museum of Art which will be showing 101 of the artist’s pieces from Dante’s The Divine Comedy. The museum is open 10 a.m. -5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1-5 p.m. on Sunday.
