Four cheap events near Downtown Arlington this weekend (Oct. 6 - 8)

What: Joey C. Jones Band : Atlantis Rising : Clickbait : Cortez & Circle of Peace Band

When: 7 p.m. -  2 a.m.  Oct. 6

Where: Diamond Jim;'s Saloon 305 N. Great Southwest Parkway

Cost:$10 door

 

The doors open at 7 p.m. and the show kicks off at 8:30 p.m. with the Circle of Peace Band followed by Cortez, Atlantis Rising, The Joey C. Jones Band and Clickbait. Parking is free.

What: After Dark in the Park

When: 5-9 p.m. Oct. 6-8

Where: River Legacy Park, 703 NW Green Oaks Boulevard

Cost: $8 ages 3 and older

 

The 21st annual After Dark in the Park will feature a pumpkin patch, crafts, games and prizes, bounce houses, storytelling, and more as well as a hayride from the parking lot.

What: Calloway's Fall Festival

When: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Where: Calloway's Nursery 1424 N. Center Street (and other locations)

Cost: free

 

 

Calloway's Nursery will host a day filled with free fall activities complete with princesses, superheroes, popcorn and a 2:15 story time with Bella the Begonia.

What: Chat & Do

When: 1-3 p.m.Oct. 8

Where: Truth Vinyl Records, 300 E. Abram #190

Cost: free

 

ArlingtoN NightS will host its Chat & Do at Downtown Arlington's new record shop, Truth Vinyl Records. Levitt Pavilion's Patty Diou will be the guest speaker and lead a talk centered around music.
